Can I buy a Proxmox subscription with an EU VAT invoice from Poland?
Yes. Sztorm IT is an Authorized Proxmox Reseller based in Łódź, Poland (NIP PL7252315178). We issue an EU-compliant VAT invoice in PLN at the National Bank of Poland exchange rate. Payment by SEPA bank transfer.
How is the Proxmox VE license counted — per server or per CPU?
Proxmox VE subscription is licensed per physical CPU socket on the motherboard. A dual-socket server requires 2 subscriptions. Number of cores or virtual machines does not affect the license.
What is the difference between Community, Basic, Standard and Premium plans?
Functionality is identical — all four plans include access to the pve-enterprise repository with stable, tested packages. Plans differ only in commercial support: ticket allowance, response time and SSH support. Community uses the community forum, paid plans get guaranteed tickets.
How long does it take to receive the license key?
License keys are delivered by email within 24 hours after payment confirmation. Activation: Proxmox panel → Subscription → Upload Key. From that moment you have access to the Enterprise repository.
Do all nodes in a Proxmox cluster need the same subscription level?
Yes. Proxmox requires identical subscription level on all nodes in a cluster. A 3-node cluster with 2 CPUs each needs 6 subscriptions of the same plan.
